J1 Summer Work & Travel
The Summer Work Travel program “provides foreign students with an opportunity to live and work in the United States during their summer vacation from college or university to experience and to be exposed to the people and way of life in the United States.
Seasonal Konnections for Youth handles all details of pre-screening, recruitment, visa approval and participant orientation, including overseas job fairs.
“Internship Programs are designed to allow foreign college and university students, or recent graduates, to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture, and to receive hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field.”
Seasonal Konnections for Youth is a designated recruiter for internship positions lasting 6 or 12 months in the specialized field of Agriculture, Business, Education, Logistics, Hospitality and Tourism in Hotels, Restaurants and Tourist Attractions such as National Parks and Theme Parks.
J1 TEACHER EXCHANGE
J-1 Exchange Teachers may teach in accredited public and private primary and secondary U.S. schools (K-12), as well as in pre-kindergarten language immersion and international school programs in the USA.
J-1 Teachers may teach in the USA for a maximum of 3 years, and may be eligible to extend their teaching contracts for an additional one or two years. After the program, teachers return to their home countries to share their experiences and knowledge of the United States, its educational system, culture, society, and teaching practices.
